The Girona-Costa Brava airport leaves you just steps from the Costa Brava and the Girona Pyrenees. You can find many low cost flights with this destination.

If you want to get to the province of Girona by fast route, you have an excellent option with the high-speed train (AVE and TGV), stopping at Girona and Vilafant stations. You can also count on the rail network to move through different municipalities of the Costa Brava.

CAR RENTAL

Move at your own pace along the Costa Brava. You can rent a car comfortably in the different companies that operate in different cities in the area.

It is the best way to reach the most hidden corners. Keep in mind that most beaches and coves do not have a bus stop. Then, the only way to get there is by car, whether it is rented, owned or by taxi.

Of course, from different populations you can access some of this beaches by taking a moderate route. And all the others after long walks.

If you finally choose to rent a car, I remind you to look at the fine print. Ask all your questions before taking the keys, everything that includes and does not include the contract you signed. And, above all, carefully inspect the vehicle before getting on it.

When it comes to planning your trips, you also have the convenience of buses that connect the different towns of the Costa Brava.

The main bus companies that operate through the different towns of the Costa Brava are:

You must bear in mind that there is no line that links all the towns of the Costa Brava. Therefore, to reach the chosen population there may not be a direct bus. For that reason, you must reach the population that has a bus that leaves it at the destination you want. In short, it is like making a stopover when you buy a plane ticket that is not direct but stops in another country before reaching the destination.

You can also hire the service if you are a group.
